In order to give Pakistani youth a platform to obtain information and digital skills for in-demand jobs, Google recently announced Career Certificates. This year, with the assistance of regional partners including the Institute of Rural Management (IRM) and Ignite National Technology Fund, the Google Career Certificates are offering 15,000 scholarships.

The digital courses offered by Google and IRM will provide Pakistan's students with the skills they need to pursue careers in domains like blockchain, communication technology, and cyber security, according to President Arif Alvi.

The plan, according to President Alvi, would lead Pakistan toward digital technologies that will revolutionize the world. Due to young people's ability to contribute their knowledge on a worldwide scale, this approach will also have an impact on how quickly and effectively businesses operate.

President advised the youth to use Google Courses to advance their careers. Additionally, he claimed that the digital courses provided by Google and its partners would enable young people to work in a variety of different industries. Youth unemployment in the nation can be reduced by such changes in information technology (IT).

In the meantime, women can play a critical role in expanding the nation's economy thanks to these online courses. ICT has shown outstanding growth in Pakistan during the past ten years, with an average annual revenue growth rate of 20–30%.

Additionally, Noman Ahmed, CEO of SI Global Solutions, stated that now is the ideal time to take advantage of the prospects that are accessible by exerting real effort and whole attention. Currently, only 6% of Pakistan's workforce, or about 4.7%, works in the ICT sector.

The aid of career certificates and scholarships will, therefore, inspire and propel women to study and excel in a variety of technological disciplines. Digital literacy, according to Waqas Ghani Kukaswadia, an ICT analyst at JS Global, is essential for functioning in a culture where computers and mobile devices are used for information conveyance.

Everyone, from students to business professionals, must quickly learn to adapt to technology in the current world because it is a requirement for jobs today. Although these courses don't replace a university degree, they will aid students in gaining a fundamental foundation in the subject matter they are interested in.

As a result, thousands of professionals and students who want to increase their income while using their spare time after working or studying would benefit from these Google courses.
